Tuesday, 1st
We were thankful to cool off in the Library and get outside in between the rain drops today. Thank you to Miss Jillian for helping us today.

Wednesday, 2nd
We had a wonderful first Art class with Ms. Lindsey. Be on the look out for your child's art work on display at the Youth  Building during the Berlin Fair in a few weeks.

We had a wonderful day and worked really hard and played really hard!

Friday, 4th
We had a wonderful first week of school. We met Coach P. and had a wonderful first gym class.

Happy Tuesday! Happy Birthday Mother Mary, (Share your coloring page if you did one)

* Hip hip yay! WOW!  We earned 20 stars and earned a class prize. Be sure to ask your child what it was. (We got an extra outside and played "Foxy, Foxy What time is it?")

We had another wonderful yet busy day!  What was your favorite part?

Thursday, 10th
Sneakers and gym clothes for gym tomorrow, please.

* What did you color in your green book using a flip crayon, red and green? (barn, stop sign, tree with fruit on it and some shapes)
* What did you do in music? Did you like the movement activity, Going on a Bear Hunt?
* Review the story of Little Red Riding Hood. Who was in the bed when Little Red Riding arrived at Grandma's house? Who helped scare the wolf away?  How did they feel at the end of the story? (Happy because the lived happily ever after)
* Tell me about the book, Mouse Paint. Was the cat able to see the mice on white paper? (no)

Happy Fri-yay! Wow! I got word that our class is in the lead for raising the most money for the Fun Run, so far! Way to go!

Wow! What a creative group of kiddos! We loved hearing all about who helped and what was used to create our Family Homework person. Thank you for supporting your child.

Thank you to those of you who were able to come out to Back to School Night! Have no fear, for those of you unable to join us, a packet will be sent home with your child. :)

* In Reading we listened to riddles to describe characters from the story, Little Red Riding Hood. Try giving clues at home to describe something. 
* Who helped in the story, Apple Trouble? (Goat helped by eating things that were stuck on Hedgie.)

Happy Birthday, Samuel! Thank you for celebrating with us. 
We had a wonderful day making applesauce that we got to taste at snack.Everyone told us how great it smelled.  Be sure to ask your child about it. What did it smell like? What did it look like? What did it taste like?

Tuesday, 22nd
We had a very busy day! After Library we met our 4th grade buddies on the playground and got to run and play. We will share our buddy names once we have our list  finalized.

We had a great first Pep Rally in the afternoon. Our class is still in first place for the Fun Run but 1st grade is very close behind. Thank you for your support!

We had a wet but  busy Monday. Since we don't have a special on Monday, we were able to have an extra long center time. What was the best part of your day? What part was tricky?

* In Reading we started by reviewing matching pictures. We even took a challenge to cut out and match pictures of Little Red Riding Hood.

No Art today but we took advantage of working on projects and reviewing. We finished our last lesson in our Little Red Riding Hood unit. We will be sending the completed unit home next week.

Thursday, August 27th— First Day of School!
We eased into a wonderful first day of Pre-K 4. All of the kiddos said they will be back tomorrow! Thank you for your cooperation with drop-off this morning and your patience during pick-up.
